Most of us have fast-paced lives, and time just goes by in a whirl – work, sleep, repeat.
Have you thought about giving something back? There are many benefits to volunteering, improved physical and emotional wellbeing being just a couple.
One of the more well-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of the young players of Penkridge Junior Football Club.
it takes a village...
As Penkridge continues to expand, so does Penkridge Junior Football Club and the need for more ‘hands on deck’. We have 19 teams in the 2023/24 season, with a view for even more next season and beyond.
There are loads of reasons to volunteer, and recruiting new volunteers with the right skills to help out can be a huge help. Some roles and harder than others, but all are equally rewarding, and without volunteers PJFC wouldn’t be here
Volunteers form the backbone of grassroots football, and play a vital role in helping to meet our club objectives of achieving high standards and providing a supportive and safe environment for our young players.
For us to be successful and sustainable, we are always looking for more people to bring their skills. Real success, is when our volunteers enjoy their role in the club and fulfil it to the best of their potential.
We are proud of, and appreciate our grassroots heroes across the club giving their time, passion and commitment to making football available for all.
